DBT #411 Xmas Monday Morning Song - Merry Christmas, Adios So Long
Our last December Christmas Monday Morning Song is a special one, and even an Adios, So Long until next year. My friend Sofia Talvik who has played our Bluff View House Concert series, has a tradition of releasing a Christmas song each year, and this year she put them together on a CD with five new songs (two of which were originals). It was not on my initial list to buy because I have such a wealth of music already for something I listen to one month a year. Then magic happened! The album was written up in the New York Times!! You know they are right; this album is special and today's song hints that Sofia might be done with this tradition, and she's thinking that AI will probably take over. Here's hoping she's got a song in her each year. Here's what was written in the Times:
