Playlists

I am not a naive Boomer who thinks he can change the world tomorrow and eliminate the evil streaming format that is killing the ability for independent and up and coming artist to make a fair living off of music that is being enjoyed by their fans.  I'm going to give fans credit thinking if they are paying a subscription that the musicians they listen to get a fair cut of that money.  They don't, and I've written about it in this in my Spotify page

If I never get streaming platforms to start paying fairly, I would ask that you stop subscribing, and use that same money to start building a library of your own music.  Just like interest, you will find it compounds in JOY!  I bet you own a few hard copy cds too, remember Music has NO Expiration Date, so pick up an old CD, import a vinyl, go to a Used Record Store and support their existence and you'll triple your investment of $10 a month in music.    It'll take time for the Streaming Service to learn that fans want musicians to make a fair living.  If you start today, maybe significant change can happen in a year, two or three.

I am committed to posting a minimum of 3 times a week.  Keep track of which theme you might like to explore HERE

Each artists with each playlist will be tagged with a label to find other songs posted in different playlists.

And you can find them on the home page as well with the number of times posted

I'm doing this because I love music and I'm already creating playlists, and I thought why not share the experience.  Since Google blogs will stay out there for infinity, they will likely out live this 60+ boomer.

I might change this, but these are my favorite playlists that I've put together, many have a one click playlist in YouTube.  I'm committed to going back to each and adding them along the line too.

My Wake Music - When I Leave #169

A playlist my wife said she's heard enough in the car, so I listen to it when she's not around - Angeline #27

Eyes are what makes me fall in love faster than any other characteristic.  Eyes Vol 1 #114

And yes I find myself as being a little romantic, plus I love my version of a romance novel cover.  Romance #145

You could always decide to feed my music addiction and donate to the cause.  If you did, I will spend it only on music and even will buy the music you recommend if you tell me to.   I might even do you a playlist you ask for; could happen.  Here's a Paypal donate button if you are so moved.
