Dave's Music #82 Carsie Blanton - Love and Rage

This Thursday's review will be quick.  Somehow I didn't buy and download Carsie Blanton's Release of April 2021 until today.  Of course being a patreon of hers I did have sneak previews and did own a few of these songs already... now I'm getting ready to see her down at Moccasin Creek Festival  down at Lake Sara in Effingham IL.  I jumped at buying tickets as one of our first retirement moves back in January.  A seven hour cruise in the Subaru and we'll be there.  Sure to come back with some great new music to share. (yes and I posted Part 1 about it here)  Until then, browse Carsie's most recent release as I listen to in in the drive and have fun with the few choice videos:

Fishin' with You... why I started following her, and this live clip is great to give perspective on her and the song:

The song isn't on the CD above so hear the studio version:

Here's Be Good from the release and she is so insightful of a purveyor common sense and historical perspective.

"Party at the End of the World" is on this release, pandemic inspired I suspect.. ha.

"Shit List", Carsie can make political sound fun... love how she cuts back to old cheerleading videos.

A couple songs from her release she doesn't have an official video:

"Be So Bad", is kind of an answer to her song Jacket I'll share below... "So What's so wrong with that?"

Another one I like is "Down in Streets" one for the masses up rising when people realize that their "Heroes are all Bastards"

I have to share two other favorite songs just in case you are new to Carsie... this one has her type positive love that just flows out of this song; just "Buck Up"

And oh my here's her saucy song Jacket, which is my favorite even before this video skirts the sensors:

Let's be honest here; people love Carsie... just look at the number of people buy her release:

or that she has 731 Patreons keeping her alive while she entertains us... someone has to Spotify is killing the music industry.

A quick update... we did see Carsie and she was wonderful; playing all her hits and just being a friend describing her songs on love and rage... loved the new song she dedicated to that so called Democrat senator from West Virginia
