DBT #194 Monday Morning Song - Look at Us Now - Daisy Jones and The Six
I woke up on the road determined that I would post a Monday Morning Song. Since I don't have my iMac with it's fast Photoshop and access to my stock photo library, the graphics are simple but the music is still great. My first thought was to play Monday Morning by Fleetwood Mac because it was the first song that popped into my head. That would be better as a Tune Tuesday because officially it was in Edition 123 Monday Stories The major reason that it was on my mind was because of the Daisy Jones and the Six series just documented in #193; but I never did share one of their songs. Well it was because of my commitment of sharing only music I own; so I fixed that and bought their soundtrack on Bandcamp.
Today's song is their first hit in the movie and definitely a catchy tune, and if you didn't see the show I won't spoil it but the writing and recording of the song is such a highlight of Daisy blending with the band.
Here's the lyric video:
But of course the song is better when you can see the magic between Billy and Daisy.
Ok I think you all need a bonus shot of Fleetwood Mac, I do love how Daisy danced like Stevie Nicks.
