DBT #369 Deep Cuts Vol 1

 

Yes I am a vinyl collector, but I pride myself on listening to the records I buy before I file them.  Ok, if I take over a collection without paying for them, many a time I file those for later song searches.  Of course listening usually means importing so the songs are accessible for me in my playlists and in my phone for listening.  When I imported the excellent vinyl "Various Positions" it dawned on me how all the songs were awesome but everyone thinks of only "Hallelujah" and "Dance Me To the End of Love"  So I picked one song and started a journey of finding one song per older vinyl I recently purchased and imported, and no hits.  You might call them B-sides if they were 45's these are just my deep cuts I loved. Now let's see what I can find in YouTube.  Truly this was a fun project to on National Vinyl Records Day.

Oh yeah, I also called it Volume One because this was awesome to do with 16 records but I have over 2,000 vinyls in the library, plus another 800 cds.

Yes I did find them all! ... Enjoy the one click playlist as I do a quick edit and get back to listening to music.
