DBT # 399 Monday Morning Song - Never Go Away

 

As I was listening and enjoying this song on a Sunday evening preparing for a Monday morning, I told my wife these two artists have been in my music for a different amount of times.  One (Abbie) has been with me since MySpace days in 2006 when I found her with "Caffeine" and the other (Marc) he's been in my playlists since the 2024 post about "The Beauty of this Now". So she said, are they a couple?  I don't know their post said they are friends for over two decades.  If Marc is friends with one of the best dobro players since Jerry Douglas, then he's a lucky dog even if they are just musical friends only.

Today's musical friend Monday is all about celebrating close ties during festivals, concerts, or just jams.  The video they shared for the song has me wishing to tour and hug each of them.  

Let's just pause and enjoy the spirit given to the wind and the notes drifting from the dobro.  We need to love and not let any moment go away.

I just want to live in this video.

In fairness, Abbie is still in my Bucket List which I should update after I've seen a few.
